Dr. Laurie Cuttino - Providing Advanced Cancer Radiotherapy Care

Dr. Laurie Cuttino is a respected radiation oncologist and associate professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she has served since 2001. She earned her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering and physics from Clemson University and completed her medical training and residency at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia, where she also served as chief resident. Dr. Laurie Cuttino later completed fellowships in brachytherapy at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the Seattle Prostate Institute.

Dr. Cuttino treats patients at Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, with a clinical focus on stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) for various sites including the brain, spine, liver, and lung. Her work includes both routine cancer care and the use of specialized radiotherapy techniques for selected patients.

In addition to her clinical and academic responsibilities, Dr. Laurie Cuttino is an active member of several professional societies, including the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the American College of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America. She also chairs the Cancer Committee at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital and participates in charitable efforts through organizations such as the World Pediatric Project and Impact 100 Richmond.
